Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026

In short: TapCards reads your screen on your phone and keeps your cards on your phone. There's no account. We only receive what you choose to send us, and our subscription provider knows your subscription by an anonymous ID. If you don't subscribe, you'll see ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device information to show them.

This policy covers the TapCards app for Android and iPhone and this website, made by Mariano and Sons Productions, Inc. ("we", "us"). It explains what information is involved when you use TapCards and what happens to it.

What we receive

What we don't do

Ads

If you don't subscribe to Premium, TapCards shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the home, saved cards and word pack screens, and now and then a full-screen ad after a study session. Premium subscribers see no ads.

If you're in California, sharing for ads based on your activity can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under state law. You can opt out by turning off personalized ads as above, or by subscribing to Premium.

Services we use

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Children

TapCards isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

Security

Everything TapCards sends goes over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Messages you send us can only be read from our Firebase console.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also tell you in the app.
